Building a Man Cave

While my friend’s husband was away on his most recent tour of duty with the Army, she decided to surprise him by making a home renovation just for him. My friend added a “man cave” to her house. For those of you who don’t know, a man cave is like a den specifically for the men of the house to enjoy. Common man cave features include (but are not limited to): a big screen TV, video game consoles, exercise equipment, and a bar. As my friend had had a detached garage recently added to her home, she decided to convert the existing attached garage to a man cave. My friend is certainly not the DIY type, so she decided to call a construction company in Broward to manage the task.

The construction company was certainly well-equipped to handle this type of project. They finished and
painted the previously concrete garage walls and put in a hardwood floor. Bringing in an electrician, they ran wiring and installed air-conditioning – an absolute must in this Florida heat. They connected the plumbing and built a short wall, in preparation for the bar. When it was finished, the man cave boasted not only a bar with a sink and stools, but also a pool table, plasma TV, comfy couches and a state-of-the art pool table. My friend was so pleased with the room that she almost spilled the beans, but ended up being able to keep it a secret until her husband got home.

Her husband loved his new man cave and thought that the construction company in Broward did a great job. After living through the stress of military duty, he now has a place to relax alone or kick back with his buddies over a beer and a football game. A loving wife, a beautiful family, great friends, and his own sanctuary: what more could a man ask for?
