In Boca Raton, prefabricated or remodeled?

This was my big question when I moved to Boca Raton. Being fully aware of the costs of each option (or at least having a good idea of what each choice could represent) I went ahead and did further research such as looking around while I drove ‘’house hunting’’ in residential complexes or just around the streets. I saw most of the homes had similar design patters and in some areas they looked identically the same.

I never wanted this for my house, I am a very creative and original person so therefore, what I displayed on my ‘’sacred temple’’ really mattered to me. This last conviction was my ultimate motivator to go with the option of remodeling. I contacted some firms in the Boca Raton area and once I bought a home at a reasonable price, they came in and wrote down every single detail I described as my preferences. They were very thorough in their efforts which was something I really liked.

First, I explained how I wanted wooden floor instead of carpet, after all this was Boca Raton! Going with the carpet option somehow made it feel out of place. Second, was my favorite room in the house, the living room. The place where I would have most of my family gatherings, entertaining affairs and where I would hang around to read a fine novel or watch a good documentary. In this part of the house, I made it very clear to them that I was a very spiritual person. The décor in that room had to represent what I considered to be good energy catalysts. I wanted the flow in the room to have synergy with all the other areas. This of course made my house feel more like a home and in the process it helped me ensure that each person that walked through my doors would feel as I would like to feel when I visited their homes: welcome.
